HUBUNGAN STATUS NUTRISI DENGAN LAMA HARI RAWAT INAP BALITA DI RSUD DR. H KOESNADI BONDOWOSO

Status nutrisi merupakan parameter fisiologis fundamental yang mempengaruhi efisiensi penyembuhan klinis serta durasi perawatan pasien pediatrik di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status nutrisi dengan lama hari rawat inap anak balita di Ruang Melati RSUD Dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional terhadap 78 rekam medis balita yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Variabel status nutrisi dievaluasi berdasarkan indikator Berat Badan menurut Umur (BB/U) sesuai standar Permenkes No. 2 Tahun 2020, sedangkan lama hari rawat dikelompokkan menjadi Normal Length of Stay (LOS) (≤ 5 hari) dan Prolonged LOS (> 5 hari). Analisis bivariat dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki status nutrisi normal (56,4%) dan menjalani durasi perawatan kategori Normal LOS (71,8%). Uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai p-value = 0,014 (p < 0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi r = -0,277, mengindikasikan adanya hubungan signifikan berarah negatif dengan kekuatan hubungan tergolong cukup. Kesimpulannya, semakin baik status nutrisi anak balita, maka masa perawatan rawat inap cenderung semakin singkat. Implikasi keperawatan menekankan pentingnya pengkajian gizi komprehensif saat admisi dan intervensi nutrisi kolaboratif untuk mencegah perpanjangan hari rawat.
