Grounded Theory adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan teori secara langsung dari data empiris. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kontribusi Kathy Charmaz terhadap pendekatan konstruktivis dalam Grounded Theory, yang menekankan interaksi sosial antara peneliti dan partisipan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami definisi, prinsip, dan analisis proses data dalam konteks sosial yang dinamis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan data mendalam terkait Grounded Theory dan menganalisis dokumen, dengan fokus pada pengkodean dan penulisan memo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori-teori yang dihasilkan mencerminkan realitas sosial yang kompleks dan relevan dengan konteks. Penekanan pada subjektivitas dan makna individu memungkinkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap fenomena sosial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan konstruktivis dalam Grounded Theory, yang menawarkan keunikan dan kedalaman, memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan teori dalam ilmu sosial dan kesehatan.
